Opening a New Account

Simply present your Identification Document (either a National ID Card or a Passport or a Driver's License) with the money (cash or cheque) that you will be opening the account with, then complete the relevant application forms.

Download the pertinent Savings Application Forms and complete it. The forms together with clear copies of two pages of your passport (one page with the photograph and the other with the personal data viz. Date of Birth & Date of Issue) must be notarised by a certified Notary Public.

Then mail these with the cheque or draft in the name of The New Building Society Limited for the amount with which you will be opening the account to :

NB: An acknowledgement including your passbook and receipt will be mailed to you after the account is opened…
